Equity Wauk & Talk on July 22

We are excited to host our second Equity Wauk & Talk on July 22 from 5-6 p.m. The event will take place at Eason Elementary School in the Garden Center. We will meet in small groups of 5-10 to discuss the topic of microaggressions. Each group will have a group facilitator to engage participants in a discussion. Students, parents/guardians/families, staff, and community members welcomed. Masks and physical distancing required. Bring your own blankets or chair to sit on during the chats. There will be no formal speakers at this event. It is a community-driven format where members of our school district and community can come together to discuss issues around equity and our continued efforts in building an anti-racist and anti-oppressive district and community.
