@walnuthillsel held their Beautification Day on Friday, May 3. Students planted gardens with vegetables and flowers, participated in a plant talk, learned about insects, and planted Honeycrisp apple trees. Snap peas from the garden will be used in Farm to School Summer programming at WCSD Picnic and Play sites as part of the statewide “Snap for Snap Peas” campaign. Thank you to Lowe's Home Improvement on Jordan Creek Parkway for their donation of 480 plants to make the school look beautiful!
