Dance Without Limits -Spring

What
Dance Without Limits is a non-profit that provides a dance program for children with disabilities who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. We run 7-10 week sessions each fall and spring and are seeking volunteers for our spring 2025 session! Dance experience is not required. Classes are held on Sunday afternoons at the School of Classical Ballet and Dance in West Des Moines. Each class is approximately an hour long and you can volunteer for up to three. Volunteers stay with their same class(es) throughout the session.

Waukee Area Arts Council presents the 10th Annual Waukee Arts Festival on Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th in Centennial Park. The event will consist of local artists, food vendors, a beer garden, student art, family entertainment, and concerts throughout the day.

Festival volunteers will receive the exclusive and highly coveted ‘Waukee AF’ t-shirt for free! Other food and beverage offers and discounts are being solicited, and a full list will be provided at the event. Students can submit for silver cord hours. Please call your friends and sign up. Give a little or give a lot!
