The Rush Spring Champions Cup will be held on April 14-16 in the Des Moines area. We will be running three sites including Prairie Ridge Sports Complex (Ankeny), James W Cownie Soccer Park (Des Moines), and Spring Creek Soccer Complex (Altoona). Duties include:
– Scan the field for any issues before and during the games.
– Verify all referees are present as well as both teams.
– Monitor the game for injuries requiring a trainer. **The ref or coach will make this decision and alert you**
– Monitor the game for any issues, such as unruly spectators or coaches.
– Pick up and dispose of any trash lying around, call if trash cans need servicing.
– Collect the score card from the center referee. They will fill out the scores. Please confirm what they write down and make sure it is legible.
Field marshals will not be expected to solve major problems or break up arguments. Each will carry a walkie talkie and contact the site director with issues. We need eyes and ears out on the fields!
