We are in need of volunteers to prepare newspapers to be used with litters of puppies in their kennels, at foster homes and at the Rescue. Newspapers and rubber bands are provided. Volunteers will pick up items in West Des Moines, prepare the papers at home, then return the completed rolls to West Des Moines. An instructional video will be texted to volunteers.
The papers need to be opened, removing half sheets and ads, then stacked to about 5/6 inches high. The stack is rolled into a tube and rubber banded. Volunteers must include a note on their completed bundles with their name and time spent before hours will be approved.
