As you may know – I shared a video last year in advisory talking about empathy and my “Backpacks of Comfort” program. With that video, I also ran a donation drive. This year, instead of a donation drive, I have partnered with a lavender farm in Michigan that has a program called Xander Bunnies, you can learn more about this Company at this link: https://lavender-life.com/pages/new-about-us
They are sending me 3,000 Xander Bunnies. I have been working with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services and they are going to get these backpacks out to children in need. With that said, the bunnies do not come packed. This volunteer opportunity is helping me pack all of these bunnies so they can bring comfort to children in need around the state of Iowa.
