For the Battle of the Burbs Tournament, Urbandale Girls Recreation Association is looking to fill two different roles with volunteers. When signing up, please be aware of which shift you are signing up for, as times vary between the two jobs. Day of, please check in at the concession stand with the concessions manager. All silver cord sign off sheets will be signed at the end of the shift by the manager as well. Below are the descriptions of both job duties.

Volunteers working in the concession stand will be assisting in preparing and selling food, drinks, and fundraising items. Duties also include: stocking drinks, emptying the trash, cleaning at the end of the day. Please arrive on time for your shift. If on the day of, you are unable to make it to your shift or are running late, please contact the concessions manager; Taylor Lawson (515)-669–8607. Please wear closed toed shoes and have hair longer than shoulder length pulled back.

Volunteers doing Field Duties will be assisting in the following:

Turning the fields over for the next game; Raking and chalking. Watering as needed. Emptying trash cans around the complex as needed throughout the day. Attending to the maintenance and upkeep of the restrooms.
