COVID Recovery Iowa Teen Advocacy Group at-home opportunity

Details

COVID Recovery Iowa has created a teen advocacy group to learn more about teen needs and trends during the pandemic, especially regarding mental health. We are looking for teens who could represent their peers and provide insight into their current experiences. Volunteers will attend a weekly statewide Zoom meeting from 5:30-6:30pm on Wednesdays. Meetings are led by trained outreach counselors who will lead discussions as well as provide resources when needed. If interested, complete the Nominate a Teen form and email it to mandy.gesme@pathwaysb.org, or email the requested information directly. (Students can nominate themselves.)

COVID Recovery Iowa is administered by the Iowa Department of Human Services and provides counseling, virtual activities, referrals and help finding resources to any Iowan seeking assistance or a listening ear.
