- The Des Moines Turkey Trot is the largest thanksgiving celebration in Iowa, it takes a large army of people to make this happen. You could be doing a variety of different things during your time with us. This could include anywhere from handing out fun swag, passing out things at the end of the race, helping the aid station, and also set up and take down. We would love for you to join us in our celebration!!
