We are looking for some fun-loving, selfless, caring, service-oriented, upbeat volunteers to join us for a week this summer at Wesley Woods to spend with our EP Campers! Volunteers ages 16+ will “buddy” with adult campers who have special needs to help create a successful and fun-filled week.

Camps this year will be held:

  • Sunday, June 13, 2021 – Friday, June 18, 2021
  • Sunday, June 27, 2021 – Friday, July 2, 2021

Basic Week Outline:

The week starts at 3pm on Sunday. We will spend the first night getting to know each other, going over the week’s full outline and training. Campers arrive at 9am Monday morning. Each buddy will be assigned 2 adult campers. I will make the assignments based on the buddies’ comfortability and experience, as well as our knowledge of the campers.

Buddies will have 24-hour support from Wesley Woods staff and will have a break each day to call home, spend time looking around the camp, etc.

Buddies and campers are assigned color groups, and buddies are always to have double coverage. Campers choose from a variety of activities all week, and buddies tag along for supervision, support and companionship. Campers leave Friday at 9am and buddies debrief and clean up cabins before leaving that afternoon.
