We have an immediate need for a Girls on the Run Junior Coach at the Waukee Y! Session is on Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30-6:45 PM starting March 28. The season ends May 21. Interested students can apply at https://www.pinwheel.us/volunteer/signup/gotrciajuniorcoachspring-2022.
The Junior Coach works with a team of coaches at a program site. Junior Coaches serve a similar role as adult coaches, with the added support of a Mentor Coach to develop new skills, grow in their ability to build relationships with participants, and guide a full lesson within the curriculum. Junior Coaches serve as role models and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
