The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden is now accepting applications for volunteers for Summer Camps and Discovery Tour programs. Applications will be accepted through March 15, 2020.

Summer Day Camp Assistant: Provide volunteer support for three-day camps and/or five-day camps.

  • Build skills working with children
  • Assist with camp activities
  • Learn about and help others learn about plants and science
  • Volunteer in a beautiful environment!

Discovery Tour Co-Leader: Work with another volunteer to lead groups of children through activities that promote science and learning. Flexible weekday schedule options June through early August. Approximate 2 hour time commitment per shift.
