The Living History Farms Junior Counselor (JC) plays an important part in creating a successful day camp experience. The JC helps our college interns and staff as they work with groups of campers in a way that fosters a positive and rewarding experience for all.  The JC acts as a role model for the campers, encouraging them to explore history and nature.

  • Volunteers must be at least 14 years old by the week(s) during which they volunteer.
  • Camps are held weekly June 6 – August 12.
  • Volunteers are scheduled Monday-Friday, 8:40am-4:10pm.
  • New counselors will volunteer for two weeks. Experienced counselors may choose to volunteer more.
