Miracle League is a 6-week baseball league for kids ages 5-19 with special needs, whether physical, emotional, social or cognitive, who want to play baseball. The Spring Season for this non-competitive, coed league runs April 15-May 20 with games played on Saturday mornings, 9-10 a.m. at Triumph Park.
We are looking for volunteers who will pair up with a player as their “buddy”, helping the player bat, run the bases, and have a fun time. We also would like a volunteer umpire each game, as well as a volunteer to be our mascot, Homer each game. As a volunteer, you would show up at 8:30am, be assigned a player that morning, and be done by 10am.
Our season runs for 6 weeks, but you can volunteer for as many or as few as you are able. Simply specify your availability on our application and we’ll take care of the rest. Volunteers must be 14 years old to help on their own, but any younger ages may volunteer if a parent accompanies them.
