We have a variety of volunteer needs at our Panora shelter! We are looking for students who can spend time giving extra attention to our cats and kittens. Volunteers can also work on special projects such as organizing supplies, light cleaning, painting, window washing, etc.
For students who are 18 (or younger if accompanied by a parent), we have an ongoing need for monthly assistance. Volunteers will typically help one Saturday a month from 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Responsibilities include completing onsite pre-approved and scheduled adoptions, handling kitten intakes, administering medications, accepting donations, communicating with the public, performing assorted cleaning tasks, and interacting and socializing with cats and kittens. An experienced shelter attendant will be on-site to handle feeding, watering, and cleaning shelter functions and will provide assistance to volunteers as needed.
