Polk County Master Gardeners - Demonstration Garden

Details

The Polk County Master Gardener’s Demonstration Garden is both a working garden and a peaceful retreat for visitors. It is a labor of love by over 80 master gardener volunteers who design, plant, weed, water and harvest from April to the fall freeze. Harvested food is delivered to local food pantries. We are looking for help maintaining the beds, picking vegetables and fruit, and other general bed maintenance. There is no need to register in advance, just show up! Arrive when you can, leave when you must. No experience required. We have a work night each Monday from 5-7pm through the end of October. We will start again in May 2022 with work nights on both Mondays and Thursdays.
