Pop Up Produce brings fresh fruits and vegetables to several Dallas County communities for residents to purchase. The goal of the stand is to increase fruit and vegetable consumption across the county by lessening the access barriers. Volunteers would assist with the set up, tear down, and running of the stand.
The Pop Up Produce Stand schedule is:
De Soto Library: 1st Tuesday of the month 4-6pm
Dallas Center Library: 1st Wednesday of the month 4-6pm
Minburn Legion Hall: 2nd Tuesday of the month 4-6pm
Redfield City Hall: 2nd Wednesday of the month 2-4pm
The goal of Hunger Free Dallas County is to increase community supports systems, volunteerism, and usage of community resources to end food insecurity in Dallas County.
