Details
The tenth annual Race for Hope DSM will bring together over 1,000 runners, walkers, children, families, and supporters for Iowa’s largest brain tumor research community fundraiser. Events include a Kids Fun Run, 2K Walk, 5K Run/Walk, and 10K Run. We need many volunteers to continue to make this day a success!
Friday, May 13: Packet Pickup at Aspen Athletic (4349 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines IA 50310)
- Two shifts, either 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Assist with distributing packets to athletes
Saturday, May 14: Event day at Water Works Park (2201 George Flagg Pkwy, Des Moines, IA 50321)
- Two shifts, either 7:00-11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Help needed with setup, parking, water stations, food distribution, medals, breakdown and more!
