Details
The Red Flannel Run is the longest running race in the Des Moines Area! We offer a 5K, 10K, and a new Family Fun Run (1 mile). We are needing volunteers to help stuff registrations bags, help with packet pickup, awards, and direct runners on the raceway! This is the 35th year of the run and is a great way for us to kickoff fundraising. Through this event we are able to gather support that helps the YMCA to provide financial assistance throughout the year to people who otherwise would not be able to afford coming to the Y and participating in our programs. By volunteering, you are not only contributing to the success of a major event, but helping a local non-profit and those in our community.
