A great way to become involved with the Ronald McDonald House Charities is to bake treats for the families. This opportunity is perfect for individuals or groups of all ages to volunteer in a fun and meaningful way. Coming back from the hospital to delicious homemade treats and the smells of home is a great way for the families we serve to end the day.
Due to COVID-19, fully vaccinated volunteer groups can have a maximum of six individuals. Masks are required at all times and temperatures will be taken before entering the facility. If your temperature is 100 or above, you will not be allowed to enter. All individuals age 18 and over must scan their driver’s license through LobbyGuard located at the front desk. To arrange a date to come in and bake, please call the House at 515-243-2111 or email caroline@rmhdesmoines.org. Scheduling is available from 9am-3pm daily at the Ronald McDonald House near Blank Children’s Hospital. All scheduling must be confirmed with the office.
