Details
Each Safety City volunteers are paired with one or two children going into Kindergarten. Our sessions run for five days and meet 2.5 hours each day with morning and afternoon sessions available. The volunteers mentor their assigned kindergartners through several safety lessons and assist them with different activities throughout the week. Waukee Police Officers facilitate the class and lead everyone in a fun, healthy, safe environment.
