Details
The Salvation Army’s Youth Basketball League began in Des Moines in 1967, and to continue this great tradition, we need your help! We are looking for assistance with keeping scorebooks, running the scoreboard, monitoring the facility, selling concessions and clean up. A short training will be required (one hour or less). We are ideally looking for students who can commit to at least five Saturdays to ensure consistency for our players!
Fall League:
- Every Saturday, October 2 – December 11 (no games November 27)
- 8:45am–12:30pm
Winter League:
- Every Saturday, January 15 – April 2 (no games March 19)
- 8:45am–3pm (volunteers could help 8:45am-12pm or 11:45am-3pm if needed)
