The Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program provides checks to low income older adults to use at the local farmer’s markets. The goal of this program is to increase fruit and vegetable consumption among older adults to improve their overall health. Volunteers are needed as we transition the sign up for the program to a drive through method. Staff will be there to provide instruction and obtain the needed signatures. Volunteers would be needed to assist with directing traffic, setting up, and tearing down.

  • Tuesday, June 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church (2715 Iowa St, Perry, IA 50220)
  • Thursday, June 18 at ADM High School (801 Nile Kinnick Dr S, Adel, IA 50003)
  • Tuesday, June 23 at Waukee Area Christian Services (1155 SE Boone Dr, Waukee, IA 50263)
