Des Moines Performing Arts is excited to continue a sensory-friendly initiative as part of the Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Family Series with three performances in the 2019-2020 season!

Saturday, April 18, 2020 | 2 PM (volunteer shift from 11:45 AM to 3:30 PM)
We are seeking volunteers to greet guests, provide directions, help with art stations, and provide general assistance throughout each event. This opportunity is ideal for those who have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, atypical learners and others with sensory sensitivities. Shifts will consist of volunteer training, event/lobby assistance once lobbies open one hour prior to curtain, and clean-up/resetting the lobby. All volunteers must attend the volunteer training at the beginning of the shift to serve as a volunteer that day. Each volunteer will receive a t-shirt upon arrival to wear during their volunteer shift.
