Looking for non-certified ‘umpires’ to help with our Minors division, 3rd & 4th graders. Volunteer is not expected to wear protective gear or call pitches. This division is coach pitch and we are just looking for someone to be a neutral party to help make game decisions in situations where the coaches are not able to make a decision. Individual would be keeping track of how many runs are scored each inning, where the base runners are, calling players out or safe at 1st or if a play is close, etc. Background in softball/baseball is not required, but recommended. There will always be a Board Member on Duty to support the volunteer when needed.
