UPCYCLE

Details

UPCYCLE volunteers will help us improve our water quality, diversify our woodlands, and UPCYCLE invasive plants into food and fun for Blank Park Zoo’s birds, reptiles, and mammals. Volunteers will be provided gloves and tools to cut, remove, and treat invasive plants crowding out our woodlands and natives. The first 40 volunteers that sign up online AND attend the event will get a drink ticket to be redeemed following the workday at Confluence Brewing next door!

Parking: Please use the NW entrance on Fluer Drive and park by the North Beach Concession Stand near the work area, or you may use the SE parking lot. Address is 2101 Fleur Dr, Des Moines, IA 50321. See map for details: https://bit.ly/2023UpcycleMap
