Details
The Polk County Meals on Wheels Chapter delivers 700-1000 hot meals to older adults, veterans, and people living with disabilities each weekday. Volunteer drivers deliver essential meals and conduct daily check-ins to ensure the safety and well being of our clients.
Meals on Wheels needs volunteer drivers to help deliver hot lunches every M-F from 10:30am to 1pm. Shorter routes take 1-1.5 hours and longer routes take 2-2.5 hours. Volunteers have the option to choose shorter or longer routes depending on their schedule.
