Students on the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) develop leadership skills and usually meet weekly during the school year to help plan teen programs, sign up for volunteer opportunities, give input regarding the teen area of the library, and suggest teen books to be purchased by the library. Silver cord hours may be earned for these meetings if students participate in that program.
For the 2020-21 school year, TAB members will participate via a monthly survey until we are able to meet in person again. Silver cord hours will still be granted for participating in our online format. Here is the link to complete the survey: https://waukeepubliclibrary.org/tab-may-2021
The survey can be completed by 7-12th graders; only 9th-12th graders receive silver cord credit. Submissions accepted through Wednesday, May 26.
