Details

We have opportunities for volunteers to check on the status of goats and sheep on Sundays throughout the winter. This can be any time between 2:00-6:00pm. An email will be sent to volunteers with the weekly location of the animals. Responsibilities will include:

  1. Provide a head count of the herd.
  2. Check the water supply.
  3. Confirm that the fence is fully secured around the perimeter of the animals and has no openings.
  4. Check the box to confirm that the electric fence is on (without touching the fence).
  5. Confirm whether any of the animals look sick or in need of care.
  6. Email a response report when finished.
