The Special Olympics Iowa WC Track & Field Meet will take place on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 at Indianola Middle School (403 S 15th St, Indianola, IA 50125).
We are searching for volunteers to help the day of to assist with the organization of the event. Various roles include: escorting athletes, timing races, measuring throws, presenting awards, & leading the staging area.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to engage with and create meaningful interactions with Special Olympics Iowa athletes throughout the duration of the event. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, and leave with a smile!
We will organize a volunteer meeting at 9:15 A.M. the day of the event to assign roles, explain organization, & prepare to to make this a memorial day for our athletes!
