Volunteer Opportunity Email Submission Deadline – May 15th, 2023
A course for incoming 6th, 7th & 8th grade band students to learn fundamental performance skills and have some fun playing with friends! Join us in a new musical adventure!
Students will need their Instrument, Essential Elements Band Book(s) and be registered for band in the Waukee School System. Each student will be playing the instrument they currently play. A minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25 students will be in each class.

Monday-Friday June 6-10 Waukee Middle School, Band Rm 460 $175
S2238 Brass (Trumpet, F-Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba) & Percussion Master Class 10:30 am-12:45 pm
S2240 Woodwinds (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone) Master Class 11:45 am-2:00 pm
Daily Rehearsal Schedule:
10:30am – 11:30am – Master Class Lessons for ALL Brass & Percussion students
11:30am-11:45am – Break
11:45am – 12:45pm – FULL Band Rehearsal (ALL Brass, Percussion & Woodwinds)
1:00pm – 2:00pm – Master Class Lessons for ALL Woodwind students
Friday, June 10 – possible concert performance – TBD
